If you are thinking about hiring a live band for your wedding day, then join the thousands of other people who are doing exactly the same thing. The days of DJ & Disco for your special day are fast becoming a thing of the 20th century! For the 21st century, live music with a great sound & light show is fast becoming a wedding necessity - almost as much as the cake itself!

Saintz have plenty of experience when it comes to weddings, they are able to adapt to a wide variety of situations and requirements, from an acoustic formation during the wedding breakfast, through to the full band for the evening reception. First dance music selection can be requested, along with carefully chosen background music or DJ support during the intervals.

Planning your wedding day with a live band can seem a daunting task, after all, it's probably the first time you've dealt with a live band and you won't know what to do or ask in order for your wedding day to run smoothly. Well don't worry first of all, let us explain how it is typically done!

Saintz can either play two or three sets of music, typically around 1 hour in duration each. For the three sets, we will play a light swing/jazz set following the breakfast to open with. This will set the mood for the evening, whilst allowing time for all of your relatives and friends to catch up on all the gossip!

Preceeding the buffet, typically around 9:00pm, Saintz will play another set, followed by the buffet, ending with the final set playing 10:30pm - 11:30pm. Should only two sets be required, the first set would be replaced by background music played through our PA system or would be left to the DJ if booked as well. If you have booked the venue until 1:00am - then we recommend you add our DJ package as well as our late finish option, so that music will continue until the party is finished.

Saintz require 1 hour to setup all the equipment. This will typically take place whilst the venue performs the room turnaround following the wedding breakfast at 6:00pm. The band will arrive for this time, so that we are ready to begin playing background music from 7:00pm and begin the first set of music at 7:30pm if this option is chosen.
